This custom ordered book showcases a unique transformation, as the printed old book “Practical Anatomy” from 1881 breathes new life into the journal’s interior.

The journey of this custom order began with a PDF file containing low-quality, yellowed pages from the original book. Converting the PDF into high-quality JPG images was just the first step. The painstaking process involved manually removing the yellow hue from each page, meticulously preparing the images for proper printing order, and delicately tearing and aging all 611 book pages. This endeavor required dedicated time and effort. It is important to acknowledge the invaluable assistance of the customer in cleaning and converting the pages into the appropriate format. From a modest 30 MB PDF, the result evolved into a stunning collection of realistic book pages, spanning a staggering 3 gigabytes in size.

The creation of this masterpiece extended beyond the pages, as the book cover itself stands as one of the most intricately designed and meticulously crafted pieces in our repertoire. Every element, from the rib cage to the head tooling, was meticulously handmade. Countless hours were spent meticulously shaping and embossing these details, with the aid of magnifying glasses to ensure perfection.
