Custom ordered book based on journals from top of my offer. Book cover is not changed, difference is in printed pages… Maybe don’t look like hard work but start point was pdf file with low quality, yellow pages of book from 1881. Converting it into higher quality jpg, manually cleaning yellow color from all pages, prepress for printing pages in proper order, hand torn page by page and aging on 611 book pages was take a while… Need to notice that customer was helpful in cleaning pages and converting it into proper format. From 30 Mb pdf file, we got on the end – pictures in 3 gigabytes! Result are very realistic book pages for appropriate book cover…
Work on book cover wasn’t regular if include that is this one of my most complicate book covers ever made. All book elements are handmade… for only two details like rib cage and head tooling I need a days with magnifying glasses on eyes…
Final result is worth of all the time spent!
