Journal size is in 8″ x 10″ (26 x 20 cm) and thickness around 3 inches (8 cm). The front cover plates has recessed blank central part, surrounded with embossed frame and handmade brass corners. Leather is hand toned and aged in dark red color tones.
The front cover plate have hand carved the Triquetra symbol, made from special prepared and hardener leather. In later work phases the symbol is polished, gilded and aged to fit with brass corners.
The book block has 300 leaves (600 pages) of 140 gsm weight, blank white paper. The producer of the paper is Italian company Fedrigoni. The high-grade paper does not bleed through and is exceptionally smooth to write on. The inside cover – endpapers are marbled parchment which gives it a nice touch. The gilded and aged paper edges all contribute to that authentic vintage look.
