Journal size is in 8″ x 10″ (26 x 20 cm) and thickness around 3 inches (8 cm). The front cover plates has recessed central part with the map of Skyrim, surrounded with embossed frame and handmade brass corners. White leather is hand toned and aged in wide specter of gray color tone. The central detail, the seal of Akatosh has hand carved from thick leather, hardener with special bookbinder mixtures, gilded and aged.
The book block has 300 leaves (600 pages) of 140 gsm weight, blank white paper. The producer of the paper is Italian company Fedrigoni. The high-grade paper does not bleed through and is exceptionally smooth to write on. The inside cover – endpapers are marbled parchment which gives it a nice touch. The gilded and aged paper edges all contribute to that authentic vintage look.
