Journal size is 10″ x 13″ (33 x 25 cm) large; around 2.5 inches (6 cm) thick and around 9 lbs (4.2 kg) weight. The front cover plates has recessed blank central part, surrounded with embossed frame and handmade brass corners. Leather is hand toned and aged in dark brown color tone. The front cover plate has hand gilded transmutation circle, attributed to a German alchemist from the 17th century. The book block has around 300 leaves (600 pages) of the strong 120 gsm weight clean white paper. The inside cover – endpapers are marbled parchment which gives it a nice touch. The gilded and aged paper edges all contribute to that authentic vintage look.
